Resort rates and seasons

The resort is open from May 1 through September 10. Daily rates are $68 and up, and weekly rentals are $352 and up.

Accommodation details

The resort has 40 units, consisting of cottages, motels, and apartments. Linens, kitchens, pots & pans, and dishes are provided. Please bring your own towels for bath, kitchen and pool.

There is a private heated swimming pool with a surrounding patio and chairs. There is a large sun deck overlooking the lake, with picnic tables and gas grills for those that like to eat outside. The grounds are well lighted at night. There is a large pier for swimming and fishing. Boat stalls are available for privately owned boats, at no extra charge.

Pets up to 20 lbs only. Smoking is allowed. The resort is partially accessible to handicapped persons.

Surroundings

The resort is located directly on Lake Shafer, within walking distance of Indiana Beach. Water recreation includes swimming in the lake and heated swimming pool, and fishing. Nearby is Indiana Beach Amusement Park, and golfing.

Lake Shafer covers approximately 1,400 acres, with a maximum water depth of 30 feet. Motors are allowed. Fish include bass, crappies, blue gill, and channel catfish.
